Highlands' senior Rb Austin Collinsworth (#22 photo) rushed 13 times for 124 yards and 4 td's for the Birds. Defensively, the Highlands defense held stand out sophomore Travis Elliott to just 119 yards, only allowing 10 in the second half.
Conner 40 Scott 7
In the nkysports.com game of the week, Conner senior QB rushed 8 times for 184 yards and had 4 rushing td's at the half. West was virtually unstoppable as he also complete 7 of 12 passes for 58 yards. Will Bardo of Highlands if very good, but Nick West just might be the best QB up here.
Norwood, OH 30 Campbell Co 20
The Camels lose their home opener as Norwood comes across the river and knocks them off. Jeremy Scott led Norwood with 33 carries for 202 yards.
Cooper 49 Louisville Shawnee 20
Cooper starts the season 1-0 as junior Dvontae Bradley rushed 16 times for 244 yards and 5 td's for the Jags.
