They came up short of their goal of a national championship but overall did well finishing in the top 20 of 128 teams playing D1. Some don't realize that this was just their first year playing together as a program.
Some of their other accolades include finishing 2nd in the state, Final 8 at the KnoxVegas Heat, 2nd in the Eddie Ford Hoops Stimulas tourney, Final four in the Adidas Takes 5ive tourney at UC, and winning the Adidas May Classic in Bloomington. They also won many local/regional tournaments around the state.
We should expect to see a lot of improvement and an even greater 2nd year for their program next year. Some of their plans include playing in the bigger tournaments that are NCAA certified.
