Senior Rb Corey Klei rushed 19 times for 162 yards in helping lead the Colonels past the Tigers. Dixie racked up 442 total yards, including 353 on the ground. Defensively, the Colonels held Beechwood to 294 yards but allowed 242 on the ground. If you're Coach Spritzky, you can't really complain about Dixie's bend but don't break defense though when they allow just 7 points.
Simon Kenton 29 Newcath 8
Despite playing much of the game without standout RB Miles Simpson, the Pioneers took down the Breds of Newcath. QB Chad Lawrence rushed 16 times for 87 yards but the surprise of the game was his passing ability. Lawrence completed 8 of 15 passes for 141 yards and 3 TD's.
Holmes 41 Lloyd 12
Holmes was led by Damien Oden who scored 4 td's for the Bulldogs. Oden rushed 13 times for 81 yards and 3 td's, while also returning a punt for 62 yards and a TD. The star of the game though was QB Jesse Jensen who completed 6 of 7 passes for 80 yards and also rushed 14 times for 146 yards.
Boone County 31 Lafayette 23
Charles Quainoo rushed 32 times for 104 yards while Jordan Oppenheimer added 97 yards on 10 carries for the Rebels.
