Brett Blevins of Hoopsreport.com recently listed a few players that could surprise some people in the 2012 class. Here is what/who he mentioned:
Charles Foster, 6'0 pg from Trinity High School in Louisville, turned a lot of heads this summer. He is hearing from Xavier, Auburn, Oklahoma St, and Oregon State. Foster is a top 150 type talent.
Devon Rowan, 6'7 250 lb PF, is a strong bodied forward who is also receiving D1 interest. Rowan, from North Oldham High School, has heard from Eastern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Wright State, Detroit, and Indiana State.
These are a couple names to add to the likes of Jaylen Beckham, Tamron Manning, and Isaiah Ivey, when discussins Kentucky's class of 2012. This trio played very well for their Hoop Dreams squad this summer.
One other name in 2012 that not a lot of people know about, but will hear about soon, is Jaleel Cousins. Jaleel, 6'8 250 lbs, is the brother of UK freshman Demarcus Cousins. The younger Cousins, who hasn't played the game that long, is still growing and could surpass his brother at 6'10. Look for him to explode upon the Kentucky scened in 2009-10 playing for Tates Creek High School in Lexington.
