A few thoughts:
- Curtis Washington as the best player in the state for the c/o 2010? I think Bolus is looking at the USC commitment WAY too much. No way Washington is the best big man in the state. I'll take Pittman, Gibbs, and Euton any day of the week over Washington. All three are much better prospects and have more complete games for their size.
- Ge'Lawn Guyn is a top 2 talent in the state. If he isn't the best player in the state, the only person he's behind is Ricardo Johnson of Holmes. I personally like Ric as the best player in the state since he is the most complete player but Guyn put up some huge numbers this summer playing some pretty stiff competition.
- Josh Sewell of Trinity is another one that's too low. He is easily a top 5 player in the state and Euton of Scott Co is a top 6 or 7 player. No way he's the 10th best player in his class. He improved a lot over the summer, especially defensively.
- In the underclassmen list, no way Zollo and Beckham are both ahead of Remy Abell of Eastern. He was very impressive this summer and is getting some serious D1 looks from big time programs. Abell very well may be the best player in the state for his class had Chane Behanan not transferred from Aiken, OH to Bowling Green.
- I'd also have Robbie Stenzel and Jordan Shanklin rated higher than 9 and 11 as well. Stenzel is a top 5 player for his class and Shanklin is probably the best pg in the state for his class.
- Bolus' ratings have never been very accurate and they're always questioned...these list are a prime example of why.
